Stafford County 350 Celebration

Stafford County is celebrating its 350th year this year.  To celebrate a blue ribbon committee was organized and developed a year 350staff.pnglong celebration with various events and activties.  Stafford County Schools is a proud partner with the 350th Committee and is an active participant in many of the events.

The next event is the History Fair.  The 350th Committee and Stafford Schools are holding a History Fair on April 5th at Mountain View High School.  At the fair students will present projects highlighting particular aspects of Stafford County history.  Your student can participate by completing the entry form and creating a project for display at the fair on April 5th. 

Here is the detailed information and a flyer that has been circulated with more information about the History Fair:

Create a project that highlights some aspect of Stafford’s history! Your project should center on a historical event, historical location, or historical individual throughout Stafford County’s 350 year history. Let your imagination run wild! Modeled after the highly successful Science Fair Program, the History Fair will involve entries from students throughout Stafford County to include home school and private school in grades Kindergarten through 8th. Projects will be on display at the History Fair, April 5, 2014, held at Mountain View High School, 2135 Mountain View Road, Stafford, VA 22556.
